First of all, I have a confession to make - for some of you this type of emo hairstyle might sound ridiculous but I actually had a bowl haircut myself when I was little.

The idea is that this type of emo hairstyles for girls OR boys is classic style. As you might have thought, it originated in America and was popular among teenage boys around 1980s! Yes, back then people thought it would look cool. It's your decision afterall but you're not getting any encouragements from me on this one - not to sound harsh.
