Besides wearing emo clothing such as tight jeans on you guys and girls, long fringes that can be brushed to one side of the face, tight t-shirts with names of rock bands on them, tattoos either on the chest (more rarely) or on other parts of the body and belt with large buckles, you can also easily get Emo hairstyles with ease. Other Emo characteristics may be black shoes that are old and worn down slightly with a thick sole, as well as black glasses with a horn rim.
The Emo fashion has kept changing and from my knowledge I can say that it first originate from Star Trek. Now you may wonder why Star Trek, but that’s right – the Vulcans and Romulans were wearing tight clothes, from tightly fitting sweaters to buttoned down shirts.
Emo boys often have facial piercings and opt to wear under sized sport clothing – including girls' pants. Shirts wise, they prefer the classic look although slightly worn down jackets are of preference to most. In boys and often in girls the current fashion is to leave your trousers to drop down in order for your boxers or knickers to be visible – this trend is more profound in the Emo fashion style.

Piercing wise, some may prefer to wear conventional jewellery whereas
others will prefer the gothic, leather arm straps. Some of the pendants they wear my resemble different the ankh, fairy and the celtic pentagram is starting to become more and more common.
Emo girls may prefer large amulets either Black Onyx, Marcasite or other fairly cheap gem stones. Marcasite actually originates from the days of Cleopatra who was very found of these stones. It is a naturally occurring form of iron myrite which can sparkle like diamonds after cutting. This therefore makes an ideal cheap replacement to diamonds and goes especially well with Emo Hairstyles that are trendy and original.
